Ranch-raised eggs

Six unwashed nest-run eggs, from thoroughly spoiled hens, packed in a non-graded facility (my kitchen).
Why unwashed?
Eggs naturally come with what is called a bloom or cuticle. It is an invisible protective membrane over the shell. It seals the egg from bacteria. Factory eggs have this layer removed before going to the grocery store.

Do store your beautiful ranch-raised eggs in the refrigerator until you are ready to use them. They will be good for about two months!

Tip...when making boiled eggs the older eggs will be the easiest to peel
